a 2nd gen celica isnt FWD. 3rd gen celicas arent even FWD. infact the aa63 3rd gen celica came with a 4AGE in japan, the same motor as in the AE86. my friend drifts his 3rd gen hatch all the time. heres a pic

drifting your 2nd gen shouldnt be a problem man. just keep practicing!

there was no aa63. the one you are thinking of used a 3T. aka TA63.

wow!...I'm glad u pointed that out for me. Seriously. I now have a new founded respect for the old school celicas. They are like an 86 knockoff. I've seen some in the junk yard..no offense but i had no idea they were rwd. Thanks for correcting me man.

                    check this out
                    http://www.users.bigpond.com/vidore/...age_engine.htm

                    some good readin.

unfortunatley we didnt get the AA63 celica in the US, but the swap shouldnt be TOOO hard (bite my tounge).

the 3rd gen celica (82-85) is a GREAT car for touge and drift and are fairly quick with a 22RE which has a GREAT aftermarket support as well as the car in general. dont forget the second and first gen celicas or the starlet or the datsun 510 or the 71-74 corolla or any 70's through 86 corolla for that matter or 240z or.... ok im starting to rant, but yeah, the old school is BOOMIN and i for one like it much more than the new school. NOT TRYING TO START A FLAME WAR, JUST MY OPINION!
