i just wanted to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong the 13B-REW or any other rotary engine. the problems are that most people haven't taken care of there xevens, and most people don't know how to build a rotary. i've spoken to several FC and FD owners who have been running 13Bs whose internals have never seen the light of day and they don't have any problems. most of the bad rep that xevens get is either owner or "tuner" error. a properly built or properly taken care of rotary is just as reliable as any other motor.

^^^ 100% right! It's not uncommon to see turboed FC's or FD's that didn't even have a single apex seal change and are still running strong and without major problems. Rotarys and boxers rule!
