Some of the unseen work that goes into restoring classic cars! The Datsun 510 had terrible rust in the firewall/floorboard area that was patched up with fiberglass and undercoat, not easily noticed from the outside but once we pulled back the carpet… no bueno. @dylanhughes129 and I cut out all the rust and replaced the floor pans, rockers, kick panels, and toe boards with fresh metal. We later welded the frame rails to it and perimeter/sealed everything so this won't happen again for a very long time. Next steps are to finish prepping the car for paint, and then laying all new sound deadening on the new panels.
