The main reason for chopping the tunnel out, other than why not, is so the 350Z CD009 gearbox will actually fit properly. Many people manage to ‘fit’ them without modifying the tunnel, but it’s not pretty and usually involves the big hammer. One of the other issues with the conversation is the gearbox is much longer than a standard sr box. Gktech do a lovely selector conversation kit, which brings the gearbox selector back into the original place 🏻 ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ ️
