Set the Cam Timing – degree wheel attached to the crankshaft with our temporary timing pointer along with our dial indicator set up on the number one piston and what we’re going to actually find is TDC and then zero the pointer on the degree wheel so that we can start to set the cam timing we’ll go 50,000 down on One Direction and Rec record the number and then go 50,000 down in the other direction past zero and record the number and then move the timing pointer to the average of the two and once done we should be able to rotate the Piston 50,000 either side of TDC and the pointer will line up at the same corresponding Mark either side of the zero on the timing wheel
