Fucking Christ! @jeff_osborne_drift
@austin_dkc got damn
Holy shit , alright.
Don’t know what I’m looking at, but shiny!
The steering rack looks like its way far back, does it matter ?
Looks like u won’t to be able to get as much angle once the wheels are mounted. looks super good though
@m30drift that appears to be “too far” forward. And I think the rack relocation stuff you see on the market actually moves the rack further from the center line between the hubs.
The angle of the tierod is crazy?
That harbor freight jack tho
How much angle will you get with wheels?
Double wishbone is where it’s at
@tito3kr seriously you think they designed a whole custom front end without wheel sizes and offset in mind o.O
@revforward disnt say that at all try picturing a 18 in rim right now in the spot it is in it would be rubbing. There is plenty of adjustments to help but Matt will even say it will rub as of right now. Look how close the rotor is to the lca
@tito3kr simple as wheel offset man. I’ve seen calipers touch lca and there is still wheel clearance
@revforward even with a good enough offset to clear that would push it further out his catch can is right there so he’s a little limited.
🤗
@revforward look as his story he doesn’t have as much angle with the wheel on. That’s all I was saying
@tito3kr catch can position is the limitation of max achievable lock. I’m sure there can be changes and limits can be pushed further in such a build
That tie rod angle tho @mike.parry
@revforward I agree with you 100% I was just stating in it’s current state it will not achieve that much lock with a wheel on.
@tito3kr tie rod is stilp over balljoint looks the same to me o.O
Holy. Shit.
WOW ……………….
@kyle__g._ no need on front steer cars
@tito3kr yea those wheels were 9.5 so my 9s should help with more
@kalum_100percent it’s gangster
@durian.spm all the angrulz
@karrgram agreed
@mattfield777 niiccee 22 more days ur almost there! Lol
@cowrex lol wut
@mattfield777 shows how much I know lol. Thanks 🏻
Wow. Been trying to figure out tho, what’s the bolt on the upper arm for? Assuming removing the coilover easier or something
You’ll never have to do a 3-point turn in a parking lot again!
@ok_jonze
Cheesus Christ strikes again
Bump stops?
Not enough angle lol
Wow looks very awesome @mattfield777 @partsshopmax
@rotaryae86 need to build after alignment
@tcpmagic thank you! Loving this double wishbone suspension!
@teeson1111 because our upper is caster adjustable as well, you would loosen, adjust caster, tighten, to avoid bind in the joints
Dam matt, are you by any chance hiring for part time? I can do janitorial stuff for your shop. I can sweep the shop floor. Or an extra hand on anything.
@mattfield777 keep up the good fight big work with that rack placement it looks like
@m30drift hmmm
jesus
@fazio.17 so sick!!!
this setup is bonkers!
@lonestardrift
Mod zajebisty
Utterly insane. Loving Field Prep @mattfield777 can’t wait to watch in Long Beach.
🤣🤘🤘
Looking great! I’m interested to see how the coils fit into this setup!
Damn on a c6
Looks good. Be interested to see it turned the other way with the rack that far forward
Damn!!!!!!!
@mikestokman no kidding, sweet baby jesus, who knows maybe it work?
You manage to get that spacer bro ?
That’s fuckin gnarly haha
that’s nuts.
Still.not.enough.ANGLE!!!!! LOL
Feck
That’s a ton of tie rod swing arc
@kalum_100percent other jacks exist?? 🤷🏼♂️
