Import Tuner magazine continues dyno testing of HKS’ products for the Nissan R(P)S13 SR20DET engine. In their September 2005 issue, Import Tuner installed and tested the HKS S-Type Intercooler Kit and SSQV Blow-Off Valve Kit which gained 15.7HP and 16.2 lb-ft of torque. Following the dyno testing of the intercooler and blow-off valve kits, Import Tuner added the HKS EVC Boost Controller. Raising boost from 8.8PSI to 10.87PSI with the EVC gained another 11.7HP and 15.7 lb-ft of torque. All of the HKS products gained power across the RPM range not just peak power.
