For sale 1997 Lancer Evo 4 RS Open Class rally car
This was originally a road race car that I bought from Japan and turned into a rally car. I've got the pavement wheels and some other parts to make it a drift car as well. (I've had it in drift spec before.)
Shell:
Left hand drive
RS Lightweight shell, fully seam welded
Roof vent
Gutted rear doors
22 gal fuel safe alum fuel cell
Exide orbital battery relocated to rear
I/C sprayer tank and pump in rear
Sparco Corsa drivers seat
Corbeau codriver seat
FIA camlocks
Greddy guages (electric full sweep, very cool)
HID Light Pod
Susp/wheels/brakes:
DMS 50mm stuts on all corners, modded by Parker Motorsport for easy rebuilds ($100/corner using Bilstein parts) 1 event since rebuild
Ralliart/GrN strut mounts
12 Compomotive TH2 wheels or 4 Advan Race Wheels with Yokohama A302 Tires
Massive AP 4 pots on all four corners
AP 2 piece front rotors
Hydraulic fly off handbrake
All lines replumbed inside
Motor/driveline:
E6 motor with E8 pistons/rods
TAD Ralliart knock off cams
titanium E9 turbo
balance shafts removed
plate center and rear diffs
RS helical limited slip front
Autronic ECU with ALS and boost control
BRP tuned on AWD dyno, great power and response
Smart I/c sprayer with throttle kicker
Uberexpensive TAD brass radiator
Spal fans
Relocated oil cooler with h/d lines
TAD 2 piece propshaft, 2 events
Many more mods...to many to list. Car is in good shape and is quick. Top ten overall national car in the right hands (7th and 8th O/A at LSPR 06 and 07). I have a good spares package as well, including trans, x member, propshaft, etc...
Price reduced to $22k for a quick sale. Reason for sale: I’m bored with it and want to try something else. If I don’t get any reasonable offers, I’ll keep racing it. I reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone whom I deem an idiot, who I feel will hurt him/herself or someone else in this high performance race car.
Serious enquiries only. Dennis Martin 920-371-0947 I travel a lot for work and don't get to check forums often. If you are interested, you'll have to call. Car is in Green Bay, WI.
