  • NASA-Arizona U.S Drift March 5-6th

NASA-AZ is doing it again March 5th and 6th. Only this time we have a Novice school, which will be on Saturday, for anyone who has never been on a real road course before. Advanced drivers will be running on Sunday.

A little info about the track.
    - 1.8 mile road course. This is the same venue that's used by American LeMans, NASCAR, American GT series, etc. - "the big dogs".
    - Smooth surface, easy on tires even when beating on them for 20mins non-stop.
    - Huge oval and long back straight makes for 120+ MPH (my car's speed govern kicks in by then ) entry speed into turn 1 and clutch kickin at ~80mph.
    - Covered pit area with electric outlets and water faucet.

Our events usually average about 9 drivers. Although we are sharing with other race groups and are only allowed four 20 minute sessions. I still logged 100+ miles on my car and almost ran out of gas at the last event - started off with a full tank of gas!

If you would like more information please stop by az240sx.org or go here http://www.az240sx.org/forums/index.php?showforum=10

Here’s a video of a few of us at the last event.
