General Competition Rules:
HPI/HB chassis, bodies, wheels and tires only.
Classes:
Spec E-10 Drift
E-10 drift chassis, HPI T-Drift tires (#4406), stock E10 27T motor
no modifications except body, wheels and electronics.
Sport T-Drift
19T motor limit*, HPI T-Drift tires (#4406).
Expert T-Drift
no motor limit*, HPI T-Drift tires (#4406).
Expert Type R
no motor limit*, HPI Type A Super Drift tires (#4402).
Time Attack
no motor limit*, HPI Type A Super Drift Tire (#4402)
no Mazda 6/Stratus race bodies, kit wing or HPI plastic wing set only.
*Brushless motors allowed for all classes.
Competition Format:
Drift Classes
2 lap qualifying sessions to determine bracket position.
Top 16 goes into bracket A, next group to bracket B etc.
2 lap 2 car battles to determine the winner in each bracket
(lower bracket winner bumps up into the next higher bracket).
Time Attack
3 sessions.
5 lap runs in each session.
Fastest single lap time wins.
Prizes:
Car kits for each class winner, prizes for top three in each class and 1st place in Concourse.
HPI/HB goodies raffle for all competitors!
Bonus:
Entries received by January 16th gets a free HPI body (in stock 1/10 scale sedan body)
Practice track (...identical layout to competition track) open all day (DSM required).
Limited number of hard to find HPI/HB Drift items will be available for sale at the event.
