2009 Myrtle Beach Speedway Drift Points Series

Event cost is $75.00 per driver, payable at the gate via CASH.
Spectators are $10.00, riders an additional $5.00. Children 12 and under are FREE.
A suitable motorsports helmet is required for all drivers and riders. All cars are required to pass technical inspection. The drivers meeting is mandatory and anyone not in that meeting will not drive.
Event Schedule
- 9:00am Gates open
-10:00-11:45am Technical Inspection
-12:00pm MANDATORY Driver's Meeting
-12:15pm Course Walk and Explanation
-12:30pm Track goes HOT
- 3:30pm Competition Qualifying begins
After competition is complete, track will return to HOT for fun runs.
Dusk or 7:00pm track is closed
Tandem format for elimination in the final rounds.
Tandem driving is permitted during practice , all drivers are permitted to tandem all day unless they exhibit unsafe driving skills, in which case they may be asked to run in single runs only until they are determined to be safe on track with another car. So far that has never happened.
Prize Money will be paid at the event for top 3 drivers in competition. Points will be awarded and tallied toward the Championship.
Do not forget there is a double points event still to come that could be at any of the remaining events. Double points event will be anounced day of, in the drivers meeting.
