Due to popular demand from members, this idea has been put up as an official option for you guys
    ??CANADA vs USA??

    Time; July 18, 04
Location: Boundary Bay PTEC Lot (same lot as last time )
Event Fee: $85 CND (please CND only, we cannot accept USD)

You must be a member to participate

    4:00 – Start clean up
5:00 – Leave the track premises

Last time the timing worked out alright, but at the end we were a little rushed.
Mostly because of the slight problems we had prior to starting the event.

    Registration
This can be done at Cannonball Auto Shop. http://www.cannonball-r.com
Washington state participants, Nikolay (go4speed) is now the US VDS Officer. Those of you that wants to save a spot, you will have to register with him. I will have the forms ready with Nikolay this week.

    [b]Rules & Safety
Tech inspection will be done in the morning. Please line up your cars when you arrive.
You will have to fill out two form, event reg, and the release form.
(for minors theres a few more) But i should have your event reg form unless you signed
up at cannonball the day before the event.

This time rules will be gone through thoroughtly. It is mandatory that
all drivers is at the Driver Meet. If you show up late, you will have to find
one of the organizers to go through it with you before you can drive. So don't be a
pain and show up on time plz. We had a few slight problems last time, most of us,
especially the ones who did it, know what the problem was, so lets not let it happen
    again guys.

    Spectating
    It is $5 to spectate.
After talking to the tresurer of CACC, Rod More. we are allowed a reasonable amount of
spectators outside the track area. We will have someone blocking it off this time so people don't get near the track unless they have paid & sign the release forms. It was just
too much reliability if people are standing right by the pit. The pit area is a dangerous area, and spectators are not allowed to be in or near it. Pit crew are exception. However, we are allowed to have some spectators in a designated area. It will be
same spot we have last time right by the starter. You will have to wait for instructions
to get over there since you will be walking right through the run off area, and where the
line up of cars. Unless you plan to stay in the designated are for quite a while, please do
not ask to go over there.

    Equipments
    Jack
    Jack Stand
Helmet (each driver must have their own, no sharing)
Minimum of 3 pair of tires (if you want to have fun all day including the tourny)

You will not be allowed to change tires or work on your car, with out jackstands

    Minors
This is a big liability issue for VDS and its organizers. For spectators underage,
and participants. Parent\Guardian signature are MANDATORY. There has to be a VDS member present
to witness the parent signing the form. There is no exception to this
Proof of identifications are required for the minor and parent\guardian.
It is the participants's responsibility to arrange and prepare the information needed
    with the organizers.

All participating minor drivers will be put under a probation period for the first 3 event.
You break one single rule or we find you being careless or reckless, you will be asked
to leave surrender your membership. A partial refund may be given for membership.
There is ZERO TOLERANCE for this subject.
This means you cannot have someone sign for you as your parent unless you can prove
    they are your parent\guardian

    Tournament
This will be done under the D1 rules. This will be explained prior to starting the tournament

Prizes for this will be announced in a few days.

    Refund
Refunds will not be give unless event does not happen.

    best regards,
