  • hahaha yea lots of people have seen me in the video... I didn't think they would as I was at the end and had no drift footage lol. Thanks for checking it out.. so much more has happend.. but really have not been "blogging"

I just got back about 2 hours ago from Ebisu/Nikko... didnt stay for the second day.. 1 day of watching others drift was enough for me.... seen all who qualified.. to include Masanori.

Basically helped Andy and Emily of PowerVehicles prep the cars and load them at Ebisu on Friday. We then drove down to Nikko Saturday morning those guys you see in the background at D1 events work hard to get/keep the cars on the track...was my first time experiencing that. It was super hot outside as well. Was very cool to have full access to the track though as I was a helper. On a cool note I guess becuase im Black and American in Japan lol I stick out lol *Censored*as all the pro guys were like "hey Jackson" also seen and talked to my girl Sumika for a few in between her runs.. however she is taken by someone else

pics video to come.. didn't get much as I was helping alot.

    • Sup guys over last couple weeks entered two competitions and its very weird how my car has developed issues that I never had before while drifting from not boosting to a whacked up alignment.

      ADO8 Challange (pre game to D1SL East Rd2 )

Team Orange came up for there annual drift festival they hold at our track. D1SL East was held there the day following car did well through out practice runs but blew its load on my first judged run. I have never felt hurt like that before haha.

I hear ya. As you know, we don't necessarily get to choose where the military sends us. I'm from just out side of Chicago so I'm used to a little hustle and bustle. What are some good tracks for a beginner to play at down where I'll be?

                        • no doubt check out findingJDM.com those guys are closer to you. There is not really such thing as a beginner track just some are less dangerous. most of the guys from that area hit up Fuji and or go to Ebisu which is about 4 hours or so.. but has every kind of track you could wish for from very basic open lots to very technical smash your car up in seconds type tracks.

                          • I was watching the Drift Land camera at Ebisu. That is perfect. Nice and open, nothing ot hit, and seems like an easy(ish) course.

                            • if you do the wrong things in a few places you can flip a car there... I have seen it lol. After a while that place is a major waste of tires. once you get to a certain level you will not drift there anymore.

It is very fun with a large group of people just drifting around the perimeter.
