Modding a car COULD be pretty educational....
Anyway, I've probably paid more in taxes in just the last couple of years to send at least a couple people all the way through college, even with a good accountant working to save me as much as possible!!!
I actually invested most of my grants/student-loans paying for medical bills for my wife, and worked full time to pay my tuition and living expensses, but my degree from CSM has turned out to be worth it, even though I hated all of the work and expense involved in getting it.
I guess saying I paid so much in taxes might give you an idea of how worthwhile it was. (hard work and not being afraid to move to new jobs helped a lot in increasing my earning potential too...) Staying at a job usually might get you a 2-6% pay raise per year, switching jobs often results in a 25-100% annual pay increase, or at least its worked out that way for me over at least the past 15 yrs...Comment
