I continue to find that there is always a more gangster way of building cars. Needed a battery cut off switch, was tired of the big clunky switches that take up so much room, are heavy, and have huge battery cables running to them. So I did my research and found this. The @cartekmotorsport solid state battery isolator. This little solid state relay can kill the power to your whole car as well as the ecu to completely power down your car with the push of a small, easy to locate button. Simple, clean, effective and also FIA approved!

@papoevoviii_disruptive the site is actually milspecwiring.com and the section is racegrade products and it’s called a remote battery disconnect switch. Nice fancy little units with an extension harness and a sealed switch so you can mount the battery disconnect in any location and the toggle switch for easy access next to you in the cockpit

@mattfield777 We all rely on the stuff we know that works. Big cables, and cool red switches on the hood look all racy and work plus been becuase racecar stabdard for 50 years

@stewybryant have been using that one last 2 years, works great and never fails!
