In rotary engines to keep up with V8 – Most steel seals once the motor comes apart generally we replace them at least from the engine building side uh to ensure the best quality and Longevity possible so I don’t know about what the total potential mileage is on a lot of the aftermarket steel seals but I know they’re good I know people use them in Street application I know they use them in performance builds but for me I think one of the great things about those aftermarket steel seals is their ability to take the abuse of really highlevel torture and that’s what they were designed for and that’s how you have companies like EJ breaking records and drag cars and us out here in drifting um being able to push the limits of EGT boost and RPM duration in rotary engines to keep up with V8
