Rotary, fuck the world
Matty powers
Lol what does rotary, fuck the world mean?
I was wondering the same @samdeckchair rotarys are some of sorriest motors ever made. Might get you sideways but one of the most inefficient motor designs ever schemed up
Yeah you are right @thecadejones I do like them though, the pulsing, flames, uniqueness. But they’re crap if you want to daily one haha
Lol I agree I’ve done there different projects on why rotary motors suck, not one has ever made it to 100k miles rarely even 70k. Leave it to Mazda @samdeckchair
Haters are always gonna hate there the ones who keep the rotary in there mouth and famous
Love all these morons slating the rotary when they don’t know what they are going on about. it’s design hasn’t had an 1/8 of the development of a piston combustion engine, for a race application power per kg and size its far superior. Hence why the 787 dominated Le mans before it was banned, but the main reason why it won was it reliability over other engines. @samdeckchair @thecadejones @rotaryboii_omizzy
And if you want to look at inefficiency look at American engines 😉 I’m not slating there awesome but the are definitely NOT efficient. Mind Fords new Ecoboost technology is very good, most of it was developed by Mazda though
@thecadejones the only 2 RX7’s I’ve ever owned both laid down over 100k trouble free miles without a rebuild. My only gripe was the fuel mileage, but reliability was never an issue. Maybe I’m just very lucky.
You’re the best
If you would’ve actually read my comment you’d see I never said it wasn’t a good race motor. A rotary motor is a terrible daily driver, in races it’s fantastic but rarely are people building purpose built race cars. Most are modifying a daily, it might get you to 100k but have fun with numerous problems after that. @wildjames90
“Sorriest motors ever made” #lol pipe down I think your drunk
Exactly jahaha. They just always hate. I’ve daily my 8 and it’s awesome. Rotarys don’t break when smart people drive them. That’s a saying hahahaha
Very true @rotaryboii_omizzy
I Daily drive a 630whp 13B FC. Just parked her for the winter because the weather conditions have turned nasty, but I put just shy of 20,000km on it this last year and it still feels like it’s just broken in. They can last just fine with very few (if any) problems. Just need to be built and tuned properly
