iproton 22 December, 2017 at 05:06 Reply Man, goes to show resilient everything is in sports. A road car would probably rupture a hose, or blow off an end tank. When I neglected the radiator cap for too long, my expansion tank ruptured in the heat of traffic. Really need to invest in an aluminium radiator, the plastic end tanks are really killing it for me, I live in constant fear of them cracking.
mr_chao08 22 December, 2017 at 08:33 Reply @jakos_18 but then again, it ain’t your normal, everyday car
aeast88 22 December, 2017 at 11:15 Reply @iproton most FD cars run aluminum tube to the rear, with AN fittings and hoses connecting everything. The weakest link is the radiator fins.
aeast88 22 December, 2017 at 11:17 Reply Maybe a drawback of running AN fittings for coolant systems.. Never thought of that.
unconventional_g35 22 December, 2017 at 12:38 Reply Good thing @mishimoto has that lifetime warranty. I run one of their radiators.
olson_s13 22 December, 2017 at 14:08 Reply How much tq do you put on your head gaskets to contain that boost?
likewiseluke 22 December, 2017 at 16:16 Reply That’s not how you’re supposed to pressure test a radiator
jj_rr_stunts 22 December, 2017 at 17:29 Reply Well that helps it flow more coolant it should run better now
thedriftguy 22 December, 2017 at 19:14 Reply This is why I love @mishimoto all that boost and still pretty well intact for the scenario this is why I buy mishimoto parts
dickhewson 22 December, 2017 at 20:39 Reply @ryantuerck can I have this to hang in my garage? Hahaha it’s cool
