Tanner was very smooth and fast the entire event. The course was VERY confusing and about 60% of the matches were decided because of someone going off course or having some sort of mechanical failure.

7 of 11 races in the Rally event ended in a DNF or DNQ. That’s a very crappy ratio. Last year’s course was way way better.

Note: Some guy waved the checker early and Deegan never hit the jump. So Technically he should have been DQd there for FD would have swept the podium!

Yeah his ish broke, tried to drive Dave’s car but its against the rule.
Alot of jank a$$ rally cars…. I actually thought Stephan’s was going to be the worst but the higher budget Subaru’s were trash.
I’m Pro FD and all and I know I say this every year. But I really hope the good folks down in Long Beach are taking notes.

I’m still pleased with the results, entertaining race.

Blocks add to win a fiesta bothers me! No fiesta comes awd so why promote it with a damn awd car??? And when i saw them doing thos donuts i was like damn i want a fiesta now!!! Sucks that subaru is the only one u can buy awd and cheap!

After 2 laps to go they just stopped updating it… once again poor production, poor commentary, good race lol.
Even the running order was messed up, on the screen they showed Tanner droped to last a few times when he never lost first after turn 1 in the first lap.
They need to add on like 5 laps and 2 mandatory jumps!
And yea, that is his FD car, you can tell by the front bumper never hanging on right….lol jk

Does everyone realize what this means? All the extreme sports guys are now going to take up pro drifting to improve their rally skills. Lord help us!

You’re talking about JR right? He was hanging out with Block in the Monster Energy rally pit the whole weekend.
It would be interesting if it did happen but I’m not sure how great the chances are.

Well, a lot of FD guys are going to be doing the Ken Block Invitational, including JR. Maybe his next step is Rally Car RallyCross (or racing in TORC and/or LORRS, which I’d perfer to see, but I’m partial to the trucks 😀 ).
