Because I don't want to sell the car until the deal with my other car is finalized, and that should have happened on Thursday, but there's been some lag time. If that doesn't come through, the car stays with me. There have been plenty of people over to look and had cash in hand, but I didn't plan on this turn of events (the other car not being in my possession yet). I literally turned away deposits and money (including people offering me $4k-$4.5k for the car with the wheels).
