  • *Testing waters/trade* '91 240SX coupe NorCal

    So I'm thinking of trying to sell my S13 to fund a used car purchase OR trade for a newer luxury-style car....mainly a J30.
    Here goes everything I can think of right now:

    1991 S13 240SX SE (DOHC POWA!)
    approx. 128k on body, 112k on engine
    Black interior and exterior
    Working HUD!
    Power windows
    Power locks
    Power mirrors
    Power sunroof
    A/C retrofitted and charged with R134A
    5-speed
    Smogged and registered
    Tranny fluid changed about 4 months ago with Redline MT-90
    Salvage Title - I bought the car in a lien sale, it had been impounded for not paying parking tickets (LAME previous owner!)

    And here is all the stuff that I've done to it:
    New water pump 1.5 months ago
    New clutch master and slave cylinders 1.5 months ago (clutch dampening box removed)
    HKS Type 0 (Zero) Turbo Timer
    B&M Short Shifter
    AEM Short Ram Intake
    Custom 2.5" mandrel bent cat-back with a straight pipe (looks stock and I've never been pulled over for noise)
    Stainless Steel Brake Lines + SpeedBleeders + ATE Super Racing Blue fluid
    Tanabe Drift-Spec subframe spacers/collars
    KYB AGX shocks + Eibach Sportline springs
    Whiteline Poly Tension rod bushings
    Upgraded front seats with old-style Recaro's (pics eventually, if requested)
    Upgraded front speakers with Sony Explod 6 inchers, custom plate made and stock housing gone
    Upgraded rear speakers with Alpine's
    eBay clear front turn indicators
    Canadian Daytime Running lights
    JDM Silvia trunk lock (+3 hp!!)
    JDM floor mats (+20 hp!!)
    Falken Ziex tires all around, rears have about 800 miles, fronts are older - NEVER drifted/raced/autoX'ed on

    And here's the stuff that comes with it:
    Stock suspension
    stock airbox stuff
    Stock turn indicators and bumper vents
    Full Weld Locd Ver. 3 diff pumpkin
    J30 VLSD internals (not yet swapped into the stock pumpkin)
    2 Donut spares and 1 full size spare
    The cat and straight pipe (cat was bought about 10 months ago, but I've been running the straight pipe for 8-9 months)
    The 3/4 left can of ATE Super Racing Blue brake fluid

    The bad:
    The exterior is pretty beat up - no huge accidents or doors missing or anything, just pretty messed
    Dash is cracked
    My radio was stolen a few weeks ago, so no radio
    EGR vaccuum switch is broken - Check engine light is always on...but I was able to pass smog (with a little help )


    That's all I can think of right now...I bought the car about a year ago with dreams of competing, but never got around to it, and now I'm looking for more of a get-me-from-point-A-to-B car...

    So yea, just trying to see what people might offer/trade for it.
