RB25DET FOR SALE
****Caution Long****
A while back I purchased the entire front clip of an ECR33. The clip was COMPLETE and it was a STOCK car. I pulled everything I possible could from the clip before having the frame picked up for junking. What I have just to clarify is:
-Complete drive train and all the accessories. This includes RWD 5 speed transmission, block and head (broken exhaust manifold studs removed), Turbo, A/C compressor/condenser, alternator, intercooler, radiator, manifolds, drive shaft and everything else you would pull from a normal car.
-Complete wiring harness, fuse box, ECU, air flow meter, igniter (cracked plug replaced), gauge cluster and all other electronics.
-Supporting parts like air box, radiator and shroud, front suspension knuckles, reservoirs, engine mounts ECT.
I worked in the performance industry for nearly 10 years, because of that I was able to purchase the clip at a deal from a friend at Phase 2 Motortrend. I was going to put it in a 240SX but some things changed with my job and now I would like to sell the entire set up to recoup some of the money. I’m not looking to make a big profit so if you are seriously interested please contact me.
A leak down and compression test was done by my friend at Phase 2 before I got it and the results where excellent. No cylinder was less than 96% hold but I still disassembled the engine for inspection. The head was removed (you have to take the cams out) but the valve train is still installed. The rotating assembly (crank, rods and pitons) was also removed. Everything was really clean and I left the engine disassembled contemplating whether I wanted to do forged pistons, cleaning ECT. This is how the engine stayed. All the bolts and parts were labeled and zip lock bagged. Trust me, when I was younger I took another project apart hastily without taking extra time to label and I paid for it later. The wiring harness is completely labeled also, every connector. So if you are looking for an RB to build, I just saved you a bunch of time on tear down (up side), if not then it will take extra time to put it back together (down side).
If you need help with assembly I have already spoken to a Japanese friend of mine who is an RB specialist about doing the work as a side job (at a reasonable additional cost to you). Before working here in the USA for one of the major Japanese tuner/manufacturers he was a RB specialist mechanic at a few shops in Japan where he trained others on overhauls and tuning. I can put you together with him to work it out.
Including the parts I listed above I will give you ARP stainless exhaust manifold studs, washers and nuts (it is very common on turbo Nissans that these break, the ARP set would cost $200 from Phase2), the complete genuine Nissan engine gasket kit, a CD ROM with the English version Factory Service Manual for the ECR33 Skyline, the plastic tubs that currently contain the parts and the engine stand that the block is attached to.
I also have the Greddy intake manifold for RB25 and the now discontinued HKS cast iron exhaust manifold (external wastegate flange and T4 flange that comes drilled with the T3 pattern for stock or turbo upgrades). Both are brand new. $600 for the Greddy and $400 for the HKS.
Local pick up only, I live in South Orange County in Southern Calif. And please do not contact me about any part-outs unless you want the Greddy and/or HKS manifolds. I want to sell this as a complete package. Sorry if the post is wordy but I believe in being upfront. I know there are a lot of scammers out there. If you live near me you are welcome to come by my house and check it out for yourself! I have MANY pictures. I will email an array to interested parties. If there is something specific you want to see I will try to accommodate you, just let me know in an email.
PRICE: $1900 (not including Greddy or HKS manifolds)
