I don't understand why this is still a topic. Yes you can drift a ff car. Hell, you can even drift a bus if you wan't to.
With a ff car you can set up a drift upon corner entry, just like with a fr car. And with power, front wheel grip and skill you can even hold it for a while. But you can never get the exits right. You will never get enough speed and momentum to keep up with a fr car or even mr/rr car. Therefore it will be nothing more than a ff drift, and a ff drift is slower and quite boring to watch.
Sorry, but it's not a mather of opinion, it's a matter of physics. I've raced ff cars in both circuit racing and rallying, and drifted the sh*t out of them, but I still wouldn't choose one for drifting competitions as I would loose. Simple as that.
On the other hand. If you own a ff car as your only car, and you can't afford to get another one, then it'll have to do for practice

seriously though, i am only 17 so i cant afford another FR since i f*cked up my mustangt so i have a ford escort lx sedan sport with a 5-speed and it is the slowest POS in the world but itll have to do till im 18 and on my own.
so right now i try my hardest to drift the sh*t outta it.
and its not that boring to watch or perform, or to even be the passenger because as long as its sideways...its all gravy.
but ur right, i wouldnt enter a contest with it....lloll
