I think people are just getting mad because the whole 'got me a 240, got me a sr20, got me a S15 front, now i can be a drift king' thing going on. The truth is you dont need any of that stuff to drift (but it would be alot more fun). Dont take it personally.

Oh yeah, Signal Auto rocks ... THE MAD ROCK THE HOUSE!!

Crazy Hawaiian pretty much hit the nail on the head with the whole typpy drift thing.

Yes, Mr. Kida does rock the house! Just wait till you see what the shop is gonna bring over next Kousuke-san is going to bring over his personal car-- R34 GTR stroked out to 3.0 liter. It's a monster.

You guys need to buy more stuff from Signal, be it stickers, shirts, engines and whatnot. If the shop is not able to stay profitable Signal won't be able to bring their cars over as often. Signal and Tanabe have been very supportive of US drifting in its early stages, so please support the shop by buying something!

We all went to shin-sen-gumi the other night for some drinking and yakitori...according to Kousuke, if things go well Signal Body Pro will open in Gardena. I'll probably be working over there, and we'll do body/paint work to fix your cars' when they start hitting things like curbs, guard rails, etc.

          Damn!

3.0?! Thats crazy! Ive heard of 2.8 stroker kits from HKS, but man lol, now thats awesome

I tried to get some stickers from signal lol, I emailed their japan website and asked them to send me stickers but they never really replied lol, so I guess I have to pay? lol

They have some nice sticker prints on their site also

Signal should distribute CHUNKY BAI stickers and T-shirts.

Does anyone have the specs for the Signal R-34 engine components?

              Thanks!

                        got no money..

but the real question was where do you touge?...
haha..its not much length wise, but it does have very nice s turns, hard 90 degrees, and soft apex corners. it's like about a 1/2 mile of lakeshore road. if you live in Illinois, come to evanston, sheridan road...

the other area where i touge hard is a small industrial sector in skokie, with very nice corners, good area for a long drift while on the corners. it even has four-five hill which add for a nice scenery....
                        hehehe
almost forgot...late at night around 1130pm-1 am, i use Wacker drive. hehehe...very beautiful corners, very good straighaways, and at the end is a pure 180 degree curve leading straight to i94 hehehe...

still looking for more...but yeah this is where I touge.

I dont Touge...nor really know what its means but i've gathered the assumption that its drifting yes? Is that the Japanese word for drifting? Touge...I always hear em saying Streato Drifto in the viedoes though, lol...emmm Let me know guys.

Well heres my story. I'm not old enough to drive! 14 yeah cant drive in colorado yet...1 year...10 months..16days...20hours! right now atleast...yeah. Well I sure hope driftings not just another fad for me but I suppose it wouldn't be if I liked it as much as I do! I cant wait till the day I turn 16...I hope I can buy a pretty sweet ride with 2 years of content saving...I already have 630 saved towards a car and its only been 2 months since I could work. Next year I will get a part time job and hopefully start rakin in bigger amounts of money cause I know i'm going to need a little more then that for a car with true drift potential. Joe....hes a 25, and lives about 45 minutes away, we share a common interest in cars among other things. Hes become my close friend over 2 years. He offered, when I was 16 to take me to a nationwide auto auction to pick out my first car...he said his wholesale licence would buy him 50-70% of used cars...That got me thinking on cars that I would not have normally thought about! I am hoping...just hoping that this nationwide auto auction will yeild a BNR33 GT-S or GT-ST maybe even legalized by a previous owner...I dunno I got really HIGH hopes for the future and I think if I keep my hopes up and look hard enough, i'll find something that suits me...even if its not a R33!

On another note, I can drive a stickshift...something i'm pretty proud of considering i've only driven a MT 3 times in my entire life and i'm only 14 Hell it might not be the cleanest stop and go and course I stalled it 3 times on my 3rd try but its pretty sweet punching the clutch and driving the shifter into place....haaa makes me happy thinking about it.

Hope you guys enjoyed some insight into my "Touge Dream"...hope I havn't babbled on to much

wait..isn't touge=grip mtn runs? if so then yes i touge my wrx daily. if touge=drifting mtn run, then no not yet untill i get another car this week.

living the the mtns. of NC and the blueridge parkway everywhere i go i have to drive on a nice, curvy, mtn. road. with my wrx and the upgraded suspension on it i can't help to grip everytime i leave to go somewhere. i also go about 1 to 2 hrs a week for dedicated mtn. grip runs. anywho since i'm a student and don't get to get away from school a lot i do what i can. but i cut my teeth on grip runs (in my 1974 2002 bmw) and do it regular. drifting on the other hand....we'll i'm very new to that, and looking for my next car (miata or 240sx) to get for a dedicated drift machine.

                                no

                                it means winding mt road
it has nothing to do with griping or drifting
