FMIC are better for top HP numbers, anything over 400whp should have a fmic, though there is an exception. The MKIV stock SMIC is good for up to 450whp on a supra, so this highly effecant IC will work great for any 4 banger under that HP number. The Core is 11x9x5.5 inches. I have this on my cars, works great I rairly see heat soak with my T61 turbo. This is also great cuz ur no longer robbing the radiator from the cool air it needs when ur deep in the canyons. This IC was also 100 bucks as oppose to a FMIC core which is 450+ for a decent one ( bar and plate spearco or better), so if I crash I won't be out off a $500 FMIC. Also living in cali, having a FMIC is sure reason for a cop to pull u over and send u packing to the ref.
