hey wassup everybody.I have a 86 gts coupe im a friend of sil beers(yusef) and junpowers(peter) .Im new to the boards and i think i have a question that hasnt been asked yet so here goes. Im lookin to get some basic springs/shocks that would be good for drifting/dailydrivin/maybe some autoX and i was wonderin if anyone had any suggestions. im lookin to spend around 400-500. so if anyone has imput on what to get i would appreciate it. THANKS =)

thanks everyone for the replys. driftfreak your name is jay right? i was at the meet up in the hills (the one with hella people) i dont think we really talked much then ( im the tall kid in some of yusef pics, was riding with pete) but youll be seeing me at the future meets as often once i get the whole car thing sorted out

Go with technotoytuning.com coilovers, i have them in front and back i am using TRD 4.7kg springs and TRD 8 way shocks, works perfect for me, but i guess they are not basic, go here for more parts http://www.cyberauto.com/index.php/ToyotaCorollaAE86(83.5-87.4).txt Hope this info helps.
