Yep, braking drift is a pretty safe way to initiate a drift. The rear end comes out smoothly and can be controlled by braking strength. If you're having a hard time to get the car to drift, brake into the corner and feint a little, just a slight out and a quick flick in. You can feint while braking or start it just before. Just flick in when you start braking. This will both throw the rear end out plus move the weight off the rear tires. This should get any car to drift. Then just floor it and countersteer. With 100hp, you'll probably have to hold the gas to the floor and keep it there until you exit the corner. If you let off, it will catch. If you feel it catching a little, just steer a touch more into the corner. If it's spinning out on you, let off the throttle for a second and the rear end will catch a little. You can just counter steer more too. If all else fails, let it full lock and brake hard. The car should come to a halt at whatever angle you were sliding. Just get quick with the steering. If the rear end catches fast, you'll have to get used to straighten out the wheel quickly. It's helpful to be smooth with your actions. Don't feel so bad, most cars are 3-4 turns lock to lock. My old Ragner is 8, yes, 8 turns, quick hands, quick hands, lol.
