you can also do this while up=shifting. USually geasr 1-3 You put in in first gear, clutch in, rev, clutch out, next gear ---etc etc

no. its only for downshifting.

with modern cars there is no need to double clutch.

i just say rev matching. doin it while shifting into a higher gear doesnt really serve a purpose
