I joined this site because there is apparently a name for the insanity that I have been involved in for a couple years. Touge. I used to just say i was going to go rally/bomb through a mountain pass/canyon carve/grip/etc. depending on what road I was going to drive. But I joined since Drifting and Touge go hand in hand. I built the car to start hillclimbs and rally cross, just short a roll cage cage. So whats up everyone, check out my car at : TOUGE Eclipse GS

Hey,

My first post here so bear with me.

Our Team does Touge here in SoCal.
We have found some perfect Touge's and some cursed ones.
Most of the Team is running Mini Coopers and KILLING the competition. It's probably one of the best suited vehicles around for such a road course. Not a High Speed Vehicle (between 115hp and 180hp) but we take the corners tight, hard and fast.

hehehe I was just thinking of the meaning of the word togue yesterday... u guys do know it means "mountain" (not flaming guys) but we all use it to mean moutain run (I say it too)

To my knowledge the direct translation of touge is windy mountain road. Nice car by the way.
