i went to the store to get some soda... and barefoot driving is not for me... they made shoes for walking so imma use em for driving as well... if youre good at driving barefoot them good for you...me personally i just wont do it cause that shyte hurts...

get some cheap racing shoes... all the feel you'll need, and they're only a little bigger than your foot. super low chance that you'll get caught up in the pedals.

Bad idea if you have a 240 that is gutted, the exhaust flows right under drivers floor. I have burned my feet there and my shoes wear a lot on the spot my heel touches the floor when I drive around town.

Other than that people that say you can't get the 'feel' you get with a bare foot when you have a shoe on that is a big NO S#!T, you are wearing a big thing on your foot, but people that let you drive on their track don't give a rat's butt about your preferance and usually require you to wear shoes. Just get a pair of Piloti shoes for 100 bucks, they are good to wear every day... look nice, and are Nomex lined so they even meet that requirement for some competitions.

Hell, first time I drifted was barefoot. I was coming back from a party, and I had lost my shoes. I was so drunk I couldn't tell that I had pulled the e-brake. I've been hooked ever since.

(However I do not condone this activity in any way. It is stupid and possibly illegal. So none of you fourteen/fifteen year old kids on this forum who don't even drive yet, don't try it.)
