Aug 21 IRWINDALE practice 5 days before Formula D

DriftBuffet is putting on a practice session at Irwindale on August 21st.

Teams are welcome to come, but this is meant to be a practice session for drivers who hope to qualify for Formula D, and its only 5 days before qualifying!

Most privateers can't afford to rent the track like the big teams do for their drivers, so we are renting it for you! This is the chance to work on your lines and get comfortable with Irwindale all day.

Entry is limited to 35 drivers, so there will be plenty of track time, and the entry fee is only $150

Registration is open at www.driftbuffet.com, and will be filled on a first-come first-served basis, so register now!

The purpose of the practice day is to practice for Formula D, so we will make every effort to make the course the same as what will be used in competition.

The course will be set up as close to Formula D course as possible. Using the same layout maps.

thanks to everyone who came out. The main idea was for the privateers to get some good practice time, and that happened all damn day long! + we had a few factory backed cars out there and that help to set the bar for practice sessions. Lookout for a feature on Mckinney Motorsports on ESPN (filmed at the drift buffet). Thanks to Sal M. for coming out and running on the track too! Dude you need a car!
