    Guys,

this is taken from www.Driftworks.co.uk and www.racershaven.com where Ireland and the UK went head to head as a season Finale in Tipperary in Ireland. Here is the events as they unravelled!!

Just an update on events so far over the weekend. Most taken from the D1 Drift Series Forum as I aint in attendance ..

    Saturday - Practice

*Nick DME hit the wall on a practice lap bending a Tie rod and some panel damage

*David Quigley aka Gangus who infamously hit the wall in Rosegreen in his R33 Skyline bent the rear arms and used Mick Sweeney R32 to Qualify.

*Mike Murphys Sil80's engine seized after the oil filter came off

*Miguel Marini's S15 Spec R wheel came off mid drift.

*Martin French and Darren McNamara were allowed out for a few practice Tsuiso runs and got a bit heated up with French hitting the wall and ending up on his side. McNamara went to miss him and put the SR86 backwards into the wall, causing minor enough damage.

    Sunday
Only hearing one or two things so far but ..

    * Johnny P rolled Mark Coynes S14 clipping the wall and sliding on the roof for about 50 feet, Fortunately John is okay and unhurt

    * Darren struck Paul McCarthy when McCarthy spun out so the SR86 is proper rippledrift spec now ...

    * Buff's engine went but I heard he was expecting it

    * There was another SR86 in attendance

    * Brett Castle didnt leave the pits

*Miguels S15 isnt too healthy either

    RESULTS
    1. Darren "McNomura" McNamara
    2. Martin French
    3. Damien "Bandit" Mulvey
    4. Mark "Buff" Luney

Thanks to all the D1IRL/UK competitors and staff for a great years drifting!
