Welcome to the 2008 ClubFR Season!!
Drift Day 20 registration is now up. DD20 will take place at everyones favorite USA International Raceway in Shawano, WI. This event will be round 1 of the Midwest Cup Series. The beginning of the day will consist of a short practice for the competition, then we will go directly into competition until the number one driver is picked. While the competition is taking place there will be one or two track layouts still open for those deciding to not compete. All drivers who are currently not advanced drivers must go through the beginner course before joining practice for the competition.
USAIR allows us to have 3 different course layouts. There will be two on the main track as well as a skid pad in the parking lot. Drivers will be split up in three groups (beginner, novice, and advanced). All drivers will have to go out on the skidpad and pass a figure 8 test before moving on to the novice course. Drivers who can complete the novice course flawlessly will be allowed to go onto the advanced course. Keep in mind staff has the right to send you back a level if you are damaging the track.
As a reminder this is still a regular drift day. Whether you are competing or not, you will still have most of the day as a regular drift day. Only the beginning will be a competition.
Instructors will be on hand all day, feel free to ask them for assistance if you want it.
