They should consider doing this at all the FD events.

I second that. In a way they are doing that already with the tire rule and inspection of podium finishers for each round.

why??

each car only needs a full inspection before the season starts. Then from there, the cars are just given a once-over at each round. If the roll cage passes tech before the season starts, there's no reason to re-inspect it unless major changes are purposely made.

This process also takes about 15 minutes per car. times 50-something cars... you can see why they would want to get 20 or so cars inspected ahead of time before the first event.

There's no way they can get all 50 cars inspected before every single round. Especially since there's a Thursday practice at many rounds, and most drivers don't get into town before mid day or late Wednesday before each event (if not late Thursday)
