Heading to U.S. in August

Hey a friend and I are heading to the US in August and are looking for a few contacts there so we can suss out the car scene while there. We will probably be hitting LA and NY and surrounding areas so if any of u guys live around there and could give us any info on popular meeting spots for car enthusiasts etc we would be much appreciative

UPDATE: my friend bailed on me so im coming alone, even more reason to get some contacts in the car scene before I get there hahaha Any help appreciated...

I'll be in LA for 2 weeks from 12th sept then Vegas for a week...

Too bad you wont be hitting the east coast during Sept. The Nopi Nationals is going on. There will be some Drifting there, not sure as to what capacity yet since APC seems to have pulled the plug on sponsership this year. But there is also a nice group of Atlanta Drifters here tha could show you around. As for LA, hit up Nissanguy, think he's somewhere near there.
Lotta LA guys on here I think. Not sure bout Vegas.
