Nah but seriously though..how close is the S15 to being finished and if its not finished yet then how much time do you'll think you will have to practice with it before the 05 FormulaD season starts?

How are drift practices for the pros arranged anyway? Does your sponsor just shell out the cash to rent out irwindale for a day or something? Or does slipstream do something like that as a service to the competitors in the series?

The s15 will be done in late feb. we are still waiting on alot of custom parts to arrive. It will be worth the wait for sure. I will have a solid 2 months to practice in the new car before formula d in new jersey.

Up until now our only practice was drift days and any event we go to. we rarely get a private practice day that nobody knows about. whenever you saw the cars at the track, that was our practice.

Sounds good Al. My Z is awaiting the built motor to come back, right now its just on the stock motor still so i am going to wait another week or 2 before i take it back out again so i dont add another stock sr to my list of dead motors. But thanks for the invite, i will be interested to get back up there when we get the cars up and going for sure!

So is any of that going to change now that you have Falken as your title sponsor?

If anyone would have the budget to rent out Irwindale or a lot in Cali Speedway for you guys to practice every now and then it'd be Falken tire......right?

Falken does plan on having a few test and tune sessions throughout the year with the new cars. I do not know what location they will be at however.
