Starion- the good and the bad.

I just got done reading the latest (and last) editorial form Oldham at SCC mag. He just bought an 85 (?) Starion. I've allway dug them, but I've heard that they are unreliable. In what way? Is it just the engine? Or the whole drivetrain? Is the chassis sound or will it destroy itself? Oldham talked about a 4g63 swap when the 6 cylinder craps. Anyone heard of this?

well, the biggest problem is the electrical systems.

the 2.6 inline 4 is a fricken tank.

most guys convert to stand alone management and MPI

the chassis is strong as well.
