lotus is making as many as they can, and then theres a new version coming out in a couple more years, if youve got the $40k or the credit you should be fine, as long as you wait for your order to fill.Comment

Gimmie a call sometime. I need some help getting some *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* for the FD. And some *Censored**Censored**Censored**Censored* for the FC. Oh yeah I got arrested and lost my FF Drifter to the piggies. It's kewl though cuz I'm getting a 1st Gen or an FC if I can affordit. But yeah, my buddy just dug up 10K (litterally) and now were ready. We also are applying for a mazdaspeed account so we can get a good deal on a RX-8 if it's worth it. I kinda rather put the $krilla into the FD and build a tri-rotor hachi woith a Ford 9" rear:-)

I'm back online!
I think the WDC control box is a good idea, but enforcing it will be interesting. It may put undue stress on peoples driving styles though. I know the idea is to equalize the differences in cars, but will it work? I think it will be to difficult to make it work, but it is worth a try. If you don't try new things, you will never know. So, I guess no it won't work in my opinion.
The MR2 is I guess somewhat like a formula car. It will have some of the characteristics, but you don't sit in the middle which is kind of nice. The MR2 has to be driven somewhat like a formula car.( aka Light front end).. Also the Lotus is an awsome little car. That thing is a giant go cart. Probably the most nimble street car I have ever driven. I would say the one big difference in a Formula car is everything happens much faster, and you have much smaller inputs. Weight transfer, brake and acceleration all happen faster. Most people will never comprehend how fast a formula car will turn into a corner. Take the scariest turn you know and then drive through it three times faster. That is the truth about the mental adjustment you have to make.
Now for the most difficult question....
IF I could turn back the clock ten years, I would be in the IRL right now. There has been a consistent "I'm one year behind where I need to be" syndrome happening in my career. So I would transpose everything back one year. On the other hand, I am quite content with drifting though, more fun and less stuffy attitudes. I don't think I was cut out of the poster boy racer mold..

I would like to do both racing and drifting...
My phone is always on so I am constantly looking for rides. I spoke to Brian Stewart yesterday, and at least he would still like me to drive for him if the opportunity presents itself, its only a matter of money. ALMS, maybe world challenge. I was supposed to drive this year, but the team needs two cars not one. So they say they may have two next year.... So only time will tell... In the meantime I love drifting and I am not going anywhere. Drifting is my home.

Hey Ryan first of all I would like to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to answer all your fans questions. I would also like to wish you luck in your racing career. Now for the questions. Do you have any new sponsores for next year? Are you currently sponsored by Mazda or Mazdaspeed? If you are how involved are they? Is there be an RX-8 drift car in the works or are you going to keep driving the FC? Have you driven Tony Angelos FC? If you have what did you think? Would you ever think of droping in an SR20DET or other piston engine into it? Do you think you’ll be an instructor at any of the AZ drift events? I hear there might be a parking lot drift event sometime in December that I want to enter. This will be my first drift event and was wondering if you had any pointers? What's your daily driver? What are your 10 all time favorite cars? What are your 10 all time most hated cars? Can you forgive me for being so annoying and asking you all this questions?

Hey Ryan How often is youre fc in the shop?? And dont you think part of the challenge of drifting is staying up with a car thats more powerfull than you? (Hint-the control box) And how much does the box affect youre angle?
