Thats awesome that he came out for you guys and was so cool. I got to chat with him for a few after he won at Irwindale back in the day. Really nice guy, and he was so humble even though he had just won. He even gave my buddy one of his tires and took a picture with me I dunno why my buddy wanted his spent tire but he was cool to give it to him.

Damn guys up in Oahu sure weem like you had lots of fun!!!! A 1 on 1 session with Ueo, guys would pay thousands just to get him to drive their car and help them with settings and such. The amount of knowledge he has is almost infinite and I hope you guys use it to the best of your abilities!

PS- I like Ueo's pants.

Yup that was one of the most fun Drift Sessions I've ever been too, and I wasnt even driving that day!! It was spectacular to have Ueo there driving everyones car and giving everyone tips and pointers. I was kind of down that my car was bust up and I couldnt ask him to drive my car, but I was able to make it up by drinking with Ueo a bit at the bar. I dont speak Japanese so all the conversations were through a translator, but I can still tell Ueo is a nice guy with a great attitude! Here's a pic of Ueo and I at the bar, getting ready to tandem battle at taking shots!



Because I didnt have a working car, I recorded the entire Drift Session with my Vid Cam. I got alot of footage of Ueo drifting other peoples cars. Look for MPEG's sometime in the future at either powerslideways.com (for the domestic stuff) or coverage of everyone else at hawaiidrifting.com (if I ever get off my butt and get that website going).
