The driver for the Signal car is named "Boney" (I don't know the exact spelling). He has driven their cars a couple of times before. (And according the Overboost's article on Formula D, the driver's name is: "Yukinobu Okubo". I think they are the same person).

I figure championship standings #2 through #8 will shuffle after Joliet, but I also believe Joliet may see our first repeat winner.

i dont know, i think its anybody's game. honestly i could realistically see a lot of different people possibly taking home a trophy. the falken guys finally got their cars dialed in, as well as ken rhys/sam/dai and several others can always lethal, and out of nowhere now you got tanner to worry about out of nowhere with his little mini rhys-wings on his rear glass, and i cant even think of all the people i worry about every time i sit there as they announce top 16, its really almost anyones game at any event now.
