Ok, I just did the math using RMR's post-Sonoma points and what i had to go with as far as results from this weekend. I did NOT take into account qualifying points yet but I'm tryign to find a accurate qualifying rundown.
Also thanks to Slapshotnerd for emailing me the qualifying results so I can tally up the results and accuracy to the best of my ability.
Here we go
1. Rhys Millen 404
2. Sam Hubinette 393
3. Kenneth Gushi 376
4. Daijiro Yoshihara 332
5. Vaughn Gitten Jr. 321
6. Taka Aono 316
7.Calvin Wan 295
8. Chris Forseberg 236
9. Michael Peters 230
10. Alex Pfiefer 227
11. Kenji Namayaka 201
12. Tyler Mc Quarie 193
13. Seigo Yamamoto 174
14. Tanner Foust 161
15. Conrad Grunewald 145
16. Casper Canul 137
17. Hiro Sumida 123
18. Hubert Young 120
19. Andy Yen 118
20. Tony Angelo 110
Thanks to Slapshotnerd for the qualifying results, this *should* be pretty accurate but I'm not Formula D so wait on them.
The top 7 drivers all have a *mathmatical* shot at the championship;
But as long as Rhys/Sam/Ken qualify top 16 thus earning at least 55 points the only mathematical (and kinda realistic) contenders are going to be those three. Irwindale should be extremely interesting because of this. It's a pretty down to the wire fight, should make some good action.
