    hey griff

just wondering what was the name of the 3rd place driver in novice.. my name is yaron santiago.. but i got called john all day long.. when you announced the points standing at the end of the novice event.. you said john santiago.. so i raised my hand.. noone else conflicted so i assumed it was me.. i also assumed you guys would figure my name out since i'm pretty sure i was the only santiago.. anyways at the end of the show on espn john austin was posted as the novice third placer.. just would like you to clearify this for me.. if it wasnt me thats fine but if it is me i would like that fixed too. sorry john austin whomever you maybe this isnt an attack on you.

but on another note the show was good i hope espn continues to cover drifting across the USA.

That was great, the special was put very well together. Hopefully ESPN gets more involved in drifting.

I downloaded it twice, and despite doing it in the wee hours, only got 17, and 56 of the 100+Mb.

maybe it would be easier if it was broken up and hosted in bits.

oh well, im in a hurricane so it doesnt matter.

The coverage was pretty sweet and well put together, hopefully espn and others will continue to cover these events more and more.

Tri here should have the footage avail online in the next day or so for everyone that missed it to check it out.

I'm really happy to see this on ESPN, I think this might be a milestone since ESPN is a major sports network (no disrespect to G4TV, but they're all about gaming). This was probably the first time alot of people out there have seen drifting. I think it was explained pretty good, but not much on its history. I'm very sad that the first thing they saw when the action started was the guy in the pro division understeering and crashing into the barrier on the first turn, first drift of the event. That camera man must have pooped his pants. That wasn't a good first impression.
