toyota avensis

hi well im new here and this is my 1st thread

ok i was looking around the forum and i was looking at pics of the toyota verosa thats i herd is discontinued now. but last monday i walked pasted a toyota dealer and noticed that the verosa and the new avensis look the same form the rear and side's but not form the front. So can anyone tell me if they are indeed the same car.

P.S. I know that the avensis has not got the 1JZ like the verosa
