Hypothetically speaking, say this email was TRUE. Would you NOT GO to any future d1 events because Taniguchi, Orido, and Ueno wouldnt be there? I can understand if Taniguchi wasnt there that people would not go, but I do not know anyone that can say that Orido or Ueno are their favorites, and they would not support d1 if they were not there.
If this email was true, I can understand Keiichis standpoint. He has major power in D1, and that his drivers are trying to compete in another LEAGUE. That does not look good for business. Its like you work for McD's, and you go to Burger King for lunch in your uniform. Looks bad for business. Now people can argue that it is not competing against d1 in any way, but when it comes down to it..it is another drifting league. BTW,Are there any japanese drivers from d1 competing in formula d?
If 310's email is true, I would think that its messed up, however, I would still go to D1 events or any drifting event for the love of the sport, not the drivers.
