Its a custom PPG mix we named Gangrene. Its no show winning job, but perfect for a drift car.

            I like...

            ...white.
Kind of a universal color, and easy to apply a major sponsors color if I ever do find one.

dang, hawaii seems to be the place to be when it comes to drifting. So you actually have official tracks and stuff out there? sounds like alotta fun. do they have any major colleges in hawaii?

We only have one track in Hawaii ... Hawaii Raceway Park, and they do let us drift there. The course is short, but its better than nothing, so I'm thankfull they let us use it. We've been having offical drifting events on the track since 2001 thanks to the Drift Session (www.driftsession.com). We do have one university, check it out at www.hawaii.edu

                      Hehe....

Well, I'm new to the sport. I went to my first drift event in march of 2003, and got hooked at the Signal event. I guess I was inspired by Bai and Komatsu's performance. I also think, knowing that "The World Famous" Paul was going to go drift from drag as well, made me make this move from drag, to drift.
Well, I think the promoters at DS are more friendly than those at the drags.

My car is coming along nicely I guess...if everything goes well I'll have it out by this months DS2. My motor should be done by next week (around 420hp should feel nice ) and today I ripped out alot of the parts in the new shell. Only gotta disconnect a few bolts and pull out the motor and trans. Then the swapping over of suspension and drivetrain begins. Damn...I dont know if I have enough cash to paint the car though....hmmmm...hopefully I will.

Sounds good!! You will have *double* the horsepower of that green IROC so I know you're gonna love it. Lemme know if you need an extra set of hands to help the shell swap. You should take some pictures too. And I know some places you could get paint for cheap, my job was only $350 for materials and you can mix any color you want. Or if you want someone else to spray, Macco and Shibe have those $250 deals. Or if you want something a little nicer, I can ask my friend who does auto tech at HCC and they can spay a semi professional job with pearl or metallic for $500-$800. Lemme know what you want ...
