Perhaps if you study the economy in Japan you would know more of the answers to these kinds of rumors. ( kei office/ hks / etc) I hate to break it down like this but it is more about ECONOMY than POLITICS.

well sorry, I dont live in japan. Nor do i know, or really care about the economy. I really wonder what kind of financial troubles these aftermarket GIANTS of the industry are facing? Especially when u see ueo and other privateers showing up to US d1 events, instead of the big *Censored**Censored**Censored* companies who should logically have a stronger financial backbone. Shouldn't there be better reasons for their absence in the competition besides money? well, nate, I own a shop, have worked in the industry for some of those "big mfg's" as well as being involved in the trackside management of D1. That is where I get my info. I appologize if you don't like the simple answer and not some convoluded X-file of a reason like people seem to be looking for, but it is what it is.
p.s I don't live in Japan either

Nope... hopping into the new Discount Tire S13 coupe that is still in the paint shop as we speak! Kevin at LS Automotive busted his axx to put together an amazing motor... 2.4 SR with Crower rods and CP pistons, 10:1 compression, Garrett 3071... More details later...
