the yoshioka/nomuken tandem decision was BS, yoshioka had the clean win, but stupid ppl in audience we're yelling out one more time, even on the 2nd tandem run, yoshioka gets advantage for the 2nd TIME and stupid audience likes ken nomura and doesnt want him to lose, then do bust another one more time, that shiit was BS those ppl should go to hell and die

I don't really think the audience was behind Nomura because when they declaired him the winner everyone booed because even noobs could see that Yoshioka had the advantage both times.
I think people just keept calling for one more time because they wanted to keep watching Yoshioka ride on Nomuken's bumper, it was exciting to watch and I think they just wanted to keep watching it.
I did notice though that this time around there were way more noobs than usual..there were these two kids sitting behind me and they kept referring to KumaKubo's WRX as an RX-7 and Ueno's Soarer as a S15...it was amazing..
Yea it was definately a great day of drifting. Well worth the trip from washington. And I personally thought the 86 beat nomuken but I was screaming one more time simply cuz it was one of the best battles I've seen to date and wanted to see it again. I think thats why everybody was screaming one more time.
yea, sam did a really good job. i thought the fcs did very well even though the spun a few times on their warm up laps, they got very close to the walls but that counted as hit, i wish the fcs would make the tandem. rx7s are very hard to drift in plus you dont see many around kudos goes out to kenji takayama and drift samurai(what is his real name??) and suenaga did ok but was inconsistent but you did well in my book

I must say...it was pretty exciting to watch, and being on the infield snapping photos of the entire thing was incredible...espescially since it was, personally, my first time at a D1 event.
We arrived on Thursday, and were able to get some pretty spectacular photos from the practice and qualifiying runs...I can't wait to get them up. The actual D1 event was spectacular, and watchint the top-seeded drivers bust it out was incredible...their skill is so much more obvious when you see them in person.
It was also good to see all of my fav drivers, and chat it up with them again. Good stuff!
Congratulations to Kazama...and my heart goes out to Kumakubo. Good times!
