HKS CONTINGENCY PROGRAM FOR 2006 FORMULA DRIFT SEASON
LOS ANGELES (March 23, 2006) HKS USA, Inc., a leading manufacturer and supplier of automotive performance products and accessories, announced today that it will be participating as a contingency sponsor for the 2006 Formula Drift (Formula D) Season. The new sponsorship is designed to support teams and drivers that are currently running with HKS products.
With the growing popularity of drifting in the United States and Formula Ds commitment to putting on the top drifting series in the US, HKS is excited to be an active participant with the 2006 Season, said Andy Cheng, Manager Corporate Communications, HKS USA, Inc. Our contingency sponsorship is designed to help support teams that actively compete with HKS products. This is HKS way of backing US drifting enthusiasts.
The HKS contingency sponsorship program will cover all seven rounds of the 2006 Formula D season, starting with the season opener on the streets of Long Beach, California, April 2, 2006. To qualify for HKS contingency program Formula D competitors will need to run only one of the following HKS products with the associated signage:
