I could have sworn your hard top had the same set up? Guess i was wrong. But Hiro NEVER crashes so we dont have anything to worry about.

on the s15, was the i/c right in front of the radiator? if so how was cooling with the 2 so close?

it's a v-mount set up, with the IC and the radiator forming a lateral "V". this set up provides better cooling as air is directed to the IC and the radiator seperately, instead of having a FMIC set up where air passes through the IC and then through the radiator. from what i kno, it also provides quicker turbo response since there is less travel, compared to a FMIC.

and like earlier stated, it's costlier to run a v-mount than a front-mount, because v-mounts are custom made, whereas front-mounts are mass produced.

As TopicsII stated, it will be difficult to replace if
either intercooler or radiator pipes get busted.
we'll just have to hope that hiro does not crash
              into anything . . . . especially walls (^ ^.

              my188u :
the turbo is the Tomei Arms B8446 turbo.
the car will be used solely for Formula D events,
but later we might use it for time attacks and
              other events.

              Hubert :
unstoppable ? make sure you tell him to stop
              before the walls, haha!

oh ooops. i know the kure intl has a v-mount. it looks like a nice set-up. the car i was talking about was the falken s15 that chris forsberg drove last year. that car didn't have a v-mount
