any late boomers? Some guy i read started at 28 and hes now a D1 pro. I'll be driving in a couple months (dads 92 civic lx) but i have to work for another year to purchase a 240SX hatchback. Damn, I hope I can still get on top of my game by 20 after reading on how early the rest of you guys started.

Just dont be in a rush to learn. When you feel like you can control your vehichle and want to learn more about control, then slowly start working on drifting.

Be patient and wait. The day will come that you will pull off your first decent drift, and that day will be good.

I'm 17 now and have owned my 240sx for a year now. Don't really drift yet(still studying on it and trying to find a safe place to do it). Right now touge intrests me more and I'm working on that at the moment. I try to get on the mountains atleast once a week. I've been going at it for about a month and a half now and im going downhill at 55mph and uphill at 60.(started at 20 uphill and 10 downhill)

I'm 16, I get my license in two weeks. I got interested last year. I've been studying racing theory and tech specs since. I'll start drifting spring, and running "touge" when i feel like i can control my car well enough.

I'm 17 and I got my liscence in october, (here it's impossible to have our liscence before 16 and 8 months I got it at 17) I did some fun snow slide but nothing that I can do with good control since my car is a fwd and I can't use my handbrake (not working) so I have to turn VERY fast and it's too long to recover since the swheel is turned at max to the right (or left) and has to return to the oposite side, fun but dangerous so drift is not for now, I think abour buying a 3rd gen camaro later (not before this summer) to go solo race and maybe drift.

i'm 16. i cant say i drift, but i'm learning. me and all the girls in the drifting pretty program are all learning together. we're going to be attending all drift days etc..
i'm the youngest of the group...
i don't think there is a youngest age for drifting. as long as you learn the right way and keep it safe (on the tracks, off the streets) and not endanger other people by doing stupid things.
